What are the uses of the BMW Motorcycle Battery Charger Plus?

The BMW Motorrad Battery Charger Plus allows you to recharge the battery of your BMW motorcycle or another brand. It also helps maintain your battery charge during periods of prolonged downtime. Compatible with all types of 12V battery (lead/acid, gel/AGM and lithium) with a capacity of 6 to 60 Ah, it is very easy to use.
The plus battery charger is therefore suitable for open and closed cell lead acid batteries, maintenance-free gel or AGM batteries as well as Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePo4) batteries.

Charging and charge maintenance are controlled automatically using a intelligent microprocessor. The charger therefore operates entirely automatically according to the information stored in the microprocessor.

Using the BMW Motorrad battery charger

The connection can be made directly via the CAN bus socket of your motorcycle if it is equipped with one or directly to the poles of the battery using the adapter cable provided, equipped with crocodile clips. This is a real BMW CAN Bus motorcycle charger. The charger and its connections are protected against short circuits, reverse polarity and overloads, so there is no risk in using it.

Over long periods, the charger can remain plugged in, charging cycles are carried out, the charger recharges the battery when necessary. In case of low temperature, the current is reduced.

Throughout charging, the battery level is displayed on the case.

You can change mode, between car and motorcycle and “normal” or lithium battery and let the charger act.
